Social media is given a bad press and undoubtedly it has a dark and very dark side but today I read two useful and uplifting pieces of advice and I will share these in case they have not come up on your feed.
I am not sure my English teacher would approve of all those sentences although the sentiment is good and reassuring.
In the rush to return to normal, use this time to consider which parts of normal are worth rushing back to. There will be things we wish we could do but cannot, I would love to meet friends for coffee, or for lunch, go and see family over Easter or take part in Easter Services here. They will be worth rushing back to once I am allowed out of Fortress 41.
Girl guides have a 'thinking day' we have a thinking time and a chance to use our time and energy differently to enjoy without guilt and worry God's world and God's love in new and relaxing ways. I shall tune in to a morning service on Sunday in my pjs and loose myself in and join in with the worship I hope you will join me you in your bed and I in mine. Maybe you can take a walk later looking for the signs of new life and new hope.
